Ross Murray
Branch President
Ross has been a proud member of the NALC since 2014 and a member of branch 524 since 2021. He has served as Branch President since 2026. Prior to that, he served as branch Executive Vice President in 2025, and served as Shop Steward of the Roanoke Carrier Annex 12-Zone from 2021-2025. Prior to becoming a Branch 524 member, he was a member of Branch 34 in Boston, Massachusetts from 2014-2021. While there, he served as editor of the award-winning "CLAN" newsletter from 2019-2021.
Randy Fellers
Vice President
Randy has been a proud member of the NALC since 2000 and a member of Branch 524 since 2002. He has worked in every office in Roanoke, except for Melrose. He has been the Chief Steward at the Cave Spring Post Office since 2023. He has been the Branch Vice President since 2025. He also serves as the interim shop steward at the Grandin Rd. Post office, an OWCP Specialist, an orientation specialist, a driver safety instructor, and city carrier academy facilitator
Mary Heaton
Treasurer
Mary Heaton has been a proud member of the NALC since 1997. She has served as Treasurer for Branch 524 since 2019. Prior to that she has served as a Branch Trustee and a shop steward. She currently serves as an Executive Board Member of the Virginia State Association
Jenny Hall
Recording Secretary
Jenny Hall has been a proud member of the NALC since 1998. She has served as a Shop Steward, Vice President, and was the branch's first woman president when she was first elected in late 2013. She also holds the record for the longest-serving branch president at 12 years. She has been serving as Branch Recording Secretary since 2026. She is also the Formal-A designee for the Roanoke Installation as well as as arbitration advocate
